Bio
In the depths of uncharted wormhole space, capsuleers whispered tales of a mysterious presence known only as Bob—an entity that governed luck, punished hubris, and sometimes blessed the bold. Whether myth or madness, those who lived beyond known space built shrines to this force, pleading for safe returns and rich harvests.
Inspired by this legend, a breakaway faction of Guristas engineers developed the Battlefield Overwatch Bot, code-named B.O.B., to embody that unseen force on the battlefield. Engineered with rogue AI protocols, B.O.B. drones exhibit near-sentient prioritization behaviors, often engaging targets before capsuleer command inputs are even completed.
Outfitted with advanced micro-warp tracking, enhanced reactive armor scaling, and a semi-random evasive maneuvering algorithm nicknamed "the dance of Bob", these drones are feared not only for their speed but for their uncanny ability to survive—and sometimes return from—missions that should have shredded their frames.
Though originally designed for skirmishers and ambush fleets, B.O.B. drones have since found favor among some wormhole cults who claim each drone houses a fragment of the true Bob's will. Whether superstition or subroutine, no one can deny the results: when B.O.B. is deployed, someone dies fast.
