18 years... I command an ORE Mackinaw in the deep space of Null Sector. A place where the Pirates, and petty rat-infesting bounty hunters dwell and pray on the weak and unsuspecting.

How long ago had I been orphaned? Oh yes, it was 18 years ago, and a thousand bearucratic struggles teamed with close-encounters with savage, and likable pirates.

I am far from done though; I made it far deeper into the reaches of space that my parents had ever gone, and I'd made a name for myself. "Angel of Death", the name painted across my ship in bright luminous words.

It'd come as a sort of reputation when I'd turned the strip mining lasers on a gank-squad of pirates and tore their ships to pieces. Since that day, after seeing the bloody innards of the pirate bodies... I felt like I'd lost something.

Perhaps it was my humanity, perhaps not. I continue my search for what I've lost; nothing can stop me; not pirates, bounty hunters, not... I am Asuna Ikarus, and I'm here to stay.
