Garner McMichaels began his career as a decker after the awakening on Earth. He soon became obsessed with the megacorps, destined and cursed to crack the darkest depths of the secrets that lay hidden from the public.
As he moved further into the matrix, the corporations began to take note, and he was made the offer he could not refuse. He became a corporate security agent and spent his thirties making heaping sums of cash to keep the secrets he coveted safe, even from himself.
Garner grew tired of this, and eventually turned on his own corp, and with the help of a couple of master street deckers, unearthed a secret so incredible that he was forced to leave the company.
This secret was so beyond his perspective that it took him a decade to reconfigure himself, his mind, and his beliefs. Once this was complete, he turned on "the switch" and magically teleported himself to New Eden. To find a home. To find peace. And to uncover the next great secret hidden within existence.
