Remi grew up, hounded by her mother to be better than her. Her mothers family had always been apart of the greater mining fleets. "it's in our blood" She would always say.

Her mother pushed Remi to be better than her at the business in every conceivable way. And better she was, her skills with a Frigate were coming along quickly and she would soon be able to Pilot a Barge, The Valley Forge.

She had found some friends in the Reisen System, miners also, however much more skilled thean herself. These people seemed nice, they wanted to help her achieve her goals. She did not understand why but she would accept their help as long as they wanted to give it.
