Last family member of the Sharnhorst bloodline. Her parents where executed during the war after working as lead scientists for an Caldarean heavy battleship also nicknamed the "Sharnhorst Class".
The Caldari hoped to turn the tide of war with this heavy weight ship that actually never saw fair combat. On it's first transfer mission to receive it's still partially missing weaponry it was ambushed by 2 frigate fleets and after a four day fight damaged beyond repair (check file 14493R1DF for details). The crew left the ship to crash into a nearby astroid belt and surrendered.
Marlene's mother was accused of espionage and sabotage a day later. Her father, killed in the working facility without trial.
The Caldari never attempted a second ship of this size considering the resources cost being able to be lost against light combat ships.
Security clearance Level 15 requested for detailed intel.
