Long ago, my people were slaves. Enslaved by the empire I now am duty-bound to serve. We did not meet the Amarr Empire with resistance, for we were a young technologically fresh people. Instead, we allowed them to annex us into their empire and forswore our ways. However, we would not be their subordinate forever. The Minmatar Empire, had now provided a new force. A powerful and deadly foe. Recruiting Ni-Kunni slaves into mass training squadrons, my people proved to be cunning pilots. We, beside the Amarr Empire conquered the Minmatar home world. And as reward for our victory, many of us were given freedom. And so our people came to believe hardwork and determination was the only truth. The only true path to freedom. With fierce loyalty and unshakeable faith, our people entered Amarr society through the military, artisanship, trading, or priesthood as equals. It is a popular belief, that from the backs of hardworking Ni-Kunni people, the Amarr Empire rose to its current glory.
