Nora is the youngest child of a poor gallentean family. Her family was struggling to feed all their kids, so they decided to sell Nora to a Slave trader at the age of 13.

While she was being shipped through Kador on a smuggling ship, the ship was investigated by the local police force. The investigation revealed that there were also smuggled on the transport ship and it was confiscated. The Smuggler owning the ship was arrested.

She had to spend 24 hours in a cell, while her backgound story was being investigated and the police was unable to find any proof that she has anything to do with the drug smuggling. The officers however knew she had no place to go, so instead of just letting her go they brought her to the next orphanage, where she lived for roughly 3 years.
