This leads me to believe that you are not just a pilot of a ship, but a symbiotic monster, spending most of your time hooked into an IV of someone else's brain while you cruise around the universe trying to show everyone else that you're not some near-comatose almost corpse in a chair gargling and twitching your way to spacefaring perfection, but instead an elite capsule borne commander of a deadly and efficient fleet of ships, one of which you so happen to have deigned to fly that day.
