My personal experience with CODE is that I bought a permit and was ganked two days later for no reason.... Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Search the internet and you will find many stories like my own. I got my money's worth, though. I've been living rent free in their heads since then.. Don't worry you can fight back, too.


When they try and hit you up for a permit I encourage you to not spam them, but rather ask them as many innane questions as you can. Don't harass or harangue, Don't lose your cool. Don't complain about your losses or hard work wasted. They won't care and it just feeds their unhealthy need to feel powerful. Don't use profanity. Again don't spam...BE SMART... DON"T DO ANYTHING THAT CAN GET YOU BANNED. If you do, they win.

Take the joy of ganking away from them. Waste as much of their time as you can by being non-confrontational. They love to get you riled up. Fight the urge. Be nice. Encourage them to be better than they currently are. Ask them to stop taking out their real world frustrations on helpless miners and traders just because the real world is beating them down. Be understanding that they are helpless in their real lives so they come here to be validated. Ganking you gives them the buzz they are missing with real world successses. They can't even get that buzz from real competition here in EVE low sec with the big boys. They know they are failures; you just need to help them realize that their ways are just kinda pathetic to normal people. Once they have muted you in their channel warn others in local. Then log off for a while, because they will be agitated as bullies usually are when they are confounded. They will lash out.
