Janes had an interesting childhood. At the age of 14 she asked her mother, Janis Arc, who her father was after so many years pestering her about her surname Spoonism while her mother's is Arc.
The news had surprised her. Her father was a Major in the Caldari State Navy, the sworn enemies of all Gallentians. Her father Major Thomas Loeffel was less than receptive about her attempts to contact him, so her mother stepped up for the last time in her life.
Janis Arc pleaded with her ex-lover to at least meet with their child. The very same child Thomas swore he would defect for.
To the complete and horrid shock on an onlooking Janes Spoonism the only words Thomas had for Matron Arc were DIE GALLENTE SCUM! As he shot down the transport she had booked into the Gallente-Caldari Border Zone.
Janes remembered hearing another scream across the coms. That of her half brother Lt. James Loeffel screaming, "That is an unarmed civilian transport father!!!!!". Five years have past..
