Etienne was born while her parents had to flee from their homeplanet, a Gallentean colony in the Border Zone, during one of the countless attacks of the Caldari State. Being born on a starship, she always had a connection to the endless void.

Being from a family of refugees, she had to face all odds and chances one could have in the Gallente Federation. Eventually she graduated from the University of Caille with a Master in economics and communication sciences.

As it is within the Federation, her looks and apperance got her invited into several VIP parties on Gallente Prime as a hostess. On one of those parties she met a businessman knowing an Amarr Holder looking for an agent able to operate in areas on his behalf, where he can not be present himself. Be it for obvious political reasons or stratetic considerations.

Etienne took the job, travelling around the empires to survey markets and deal with matters where a personal contact is inevetible.
