Born in 82 YC Perimeter VIII, before becoming a capsuleer Salvor Hardins was a known scientist in Jeras II. He was in command of the Oceanic Research Team of Perkone, which was studying advanced instrumentation in underwater operations for colony construction. His life changed dramatically when the 16/2/115 YC a catastrophic explosion destroyed the research complex, killing part of his team and fatally injuring him. Thanks to capsuleer mind tranference his identity was saved from death, although in clones of his former self. After the accident, Perkone payed for his capsuleer training at the State War Academy.
