Rictor Altaras was the youngest member ever inducted in the CHOAM Corporation (Crossborder High-Sec Organization for Astrogeology and Mining) - A mining and technology cooperative between Caldari and Gallente in the Caldari Boder Zone Constellation.

After only a few short years in the CHOAM Corp, a political upheaval on Tennen II led to the targeting of the corporation by corrupt officials and a mass execution of members that were living in Arrakeen, CHOAMs Headquarters.

Rictor fought his way to survival and restored his status with CONCORD, a short time later he joined The Shanghai Retribution Society.
