It was a dark day. Death had come, without warning, without mercy. Destruction was upon us, smiling with flames and terror, taking all from our grasp. What now do we have, with nothing to stand upon? Shall we retreat to the void, disgraced and broken, our hopes and dreams bleeding over the memories of glory? Or shall we rise again to struggle onward, fighting to stand under the oppression of broken morale? I think then, that this is our true fight. The battle against ourselves, the defeat within our hearts. Hear me brothers, cast the darkness from your hearts and unleash the fury of our souls. There is no glory where there is no loss, no victory without memory of defeat. Upon our backs we carry the burden of life, the never ending force that will compel us to survive, fight, and stand tall amongst the beauty of the universe. For it is us who must ignite the flames of redemption, our hands that must guide the creation we make incarnate.
