Quovantis grew up with his young naive eyes wandering up to the glittering stars in the sky, hoping that one day his father would return from the wars between the Gallente Federation and the Caldari. Rumors of the return of the Federation's fleet flew through the air as the autumn leaves from the trees, but still Quovantis waited for his father. Years pass by with no word of his father, and began to mine for BLaDE - Black Lungs and Dirty Ears as they were called. During the long nights, Quovantis stared at the stars and watched ships enter and exit the atmosphere, wishing that was him, going out to find his father. Now grown, and after burying his mother, Quovantis got his first chance to leave his homeworld, and his job as a coal miner to seek his fortune among the stars. With no ISK to his name he bartered for his first ship, a beat up Venture to begin mining asteroids, and killing an ocassional Rat on the side. Some day, he thought, "I will find my father, out here among the stars."
