At the School of Applied Knowledge, Matthias was a lowly janitor with no prospects of improvement. While working one night, he saw a Holoboard displaying a diagram of a Caldari fleet fighting against a massive Gallente fleet. He assumed it was the students daily homework problem. He positioned the Caldari fleet in such a way that it was able to overcome the Gallente fleet, winning the battle. Little did he know it was an overview of a battle from 100 years ago that every fleet commander saw no chance of winning. The next day he was confronted by the managers at the School of Applied Knowledge, questioning how he was able to accomplish it. Matthias answered that it just made sense to him, and he was quickly entered to the School to become a pilot. Currently he flys across New Eden, working on his skills in his plan to command large fleets some day,
