Like most in Gallente society, SOSOBRA was born into a life of perpetual poverty within the lower classes. Freedom gave the choice of skulking in a mine for minor comforts or rotting away on the streets.

Accepting his place in the universe was never SOSOBRA's strong suit. Many long, arduous years of hard labor and keeping a tight grasp of his earnings, denying himself many basic comforts at a chance to break free from his circumstantial bonds.

SOSOBRA knew in his gut, the only way to achieve this was to transcend, to travel the stars in search of purpose, pleasure and glory. Winning a black market bid for a capsuleer contract with his life's earnings was his first step towards another life, many other lives.

As a budding capsuleer, he met a Sebiestor whom had recently been freed from Amarrian enslavement. Enticed by a man with a similar vision, he was branded as another head of the HYDRA.
