Escalon Kafshaz was born in the Sehmy system within the Amarr Empire. His Unionist background with the Khanid had a different viewpoint on slavery than most Imperials. Rather than believing other life to be inferior and deserving of slavery, Escalon and his people believe everyone deserves to be free, and hopes that in freedom all would choose to serve, thus coming closer to God.
