Zealous in his adherence to classical Caldari ideals and highly respected within Spacelane Patrol, Arkos Orisos became a detective shortly after finishing his tertiary education. Two years into his career he was assigned to investigate the disappearance of nearly ten billion ISK in assets from a CBD warehouse. Nine months and ten days later Orisos produced a suspect afflilated with the Serpentis pulled from the smoking ruins of what had just been a booster production facility.

Details of the raid are heavily redacted by Caldari authorities and many of its participants remain unidentified. Arkos claims that his investigation was compromised and his only option was to recruit a handful of local mercenaries which he personally led into the factory. Allegations were made that implicated other Spacelane Patrol officers but were quickly dismissed as the suspect, a CBD middle manager, was considered an unreliable witness.

Orisos' success was generously rewarded and he was fast-tracked through a training program enabling exemplary State police to become Capsuleers. Grateful for the gift of immortality, he remained dedicated to Spacelane Patrol for several years before striking off on his own as a mercenary captain. Unfortunately, competing with megacorp security firms was more difficult than Arkos anticipated.

After limping back to Jita with the limited assets he hadn't lost to his ill-fated enterprise, the former detective committed himself to the State Protectorate hoping to turn his poor fortune around. Though his success has been limited, Orisos has taken the Federation's invasion of Intaki as an opportunity to rise from the ashes of his failure.
