Born a slave, Harris was smuggled aboard an Amarian frieghter by rebels when he was just a boy. Although he won his freedom, he lost his family and everybody he ever knew.

He survived by becoming a thief, perpetually living in the shadows, never staying in one place for too long until one day a Minmatarian trader took pity on him and gave him a home. It was here that he learnt everything about his culture that the Amarians had deprived him of. His new sense of pride in himself soon turned to rage as he thought of all of the Minmatarians still living in bondage. There was only one path open to him from that point on, and he has been a Freedom Fighter ever since.
