So why do FOF Missiles never work right? They always hit the wrong thing or simply don't do much damage. After looking carefully through FOF Missile blueprints, we have found the answer!

As it turns out, FOF actually stands for Full-Of-Fish. When you launch an FOF Missile the fish inside tries to control the missile, but because these are not intelligent fish, they often aim at the wrong thing, or crash into a nearby object. Also, when they do hit they don't do much damage because the amount of explosive material has been reduced to make room for the fish.

So what are the advantages to using Full of Fish Missiles? Luckily ECM jammers do not work on fish, so regardless of the poor targeting skills of fish, it at least allows for some form of missiles to be launched while jammed.

The Caldari Navy has since renamed these missiles to Auto-Targeting Missiles, in an attempt to prevent capsuleers from discovering the truth of what their missiles really contain.
