Socium was Mundi Arcanus's imaginary friend when he was in his self created multi-verse. His one and only true friend. However, after the transition to the current universe, Socium was but a dream, a faded memory, in the mind of Mundi.

One night Socium appeared to Mundi in a dream, and asked if he had forgotten him. Mundi didn't know how to answer, and said, "I can't bring you back now. Things are different. I'm so sorry." Suddenly Mundi awoke and realized he had been dreaming.

After making some coffee and catching up with the news, Mundi walked to the ship bay to prep his Dominix for a security mission. He wished to himself that Socium wasn't just a dream now. He could use his help. One ship just wasn't enough against the whole galaxy. Just before boarding his ship, Mundi glanced to his right, and standing before him was Socium.

Mundi asked, "How is it possible? How can this be?" Socium said, "Perhaps life is but a dream."
