The venerable Lawrence clan and the "Spice & Wolf" Trading Company have been familar establishments in the city of New Yoitsu (Veinz continent - Amsen IX - Sela - Lonetrek) since time immemorial. Indeed, the town itself was founded by the clan's patriarch Kraft Lawrence 1200 years ago.

Despite this, the Lawrences are something of a mysterious bunch. Myths and legends seem to cling to them like a fur coat. The most famous of these concern Kraft Lawrence's wife, a woman named simply Holo. As the story goes, Holo was not quite human, or even mortal. She was a wolf-god they say; one who could take the shape of a young woman as she pleased, save for her ears and tail, which remained even in her otherwise humans shape. Of course, modern thought scoffs at such mythological tripe.

The youngest of 2 sisters and one brother, Arcant (known to his friends as Arc) is the first of his family to join the ranks of the capsuleers.
