The Mining COUNTERCODE - by Heyer Vitally

1. The Basics - keep clone up to date, keep eye on local, use Dscan

2. Create bookmarks in system - See someone dangerous in your belt, warp to a safe

3. Don't Insure your ship - not worth it, especially for T2, T3 & Faction

4. Don't use implants - mine with a blank jumpclone

5. Keep your ship value low - On death you drop around 25%, Gank Catalyst is 10m, so dont fit/carry more than 40m

6. Fit a passive tank on Mining Barge & Larger ships - If you survive till CONCORD arrives you win

7. Orbit Asteroids if someone tries to bump you - make it harder for them to bump

8. Never pay ransom - If they threaten to destroy you, tell them to go for it, they will lose their ship as well

9. Always fit damage drones - Gankers tend to have bounties, If you get in a hit, you may get a bounty payout

10. When you do get killed Don't be a bitch - man up, accept it, plan better next time
