Terrence was born on the move, his mother being a Vherokior Drifter always seeking new adventure. One of this adventures was Terrence' father whom he never met or learned anything about. As are all Vherokior, Terrence was strong-headed and, as are all young ones, rebellious. His rebellion was to seek a place where he could belong, so he dropped off his mother's ship in his late teens and went to the only place where a Drifter without any background would be welcomed - the Republic Military.

Becoming older, Terrence found he could give in to his own sense of adventure without committing treason to his individualuity by following in his parents' footsteps. From his time in the Republic Military, he retains a high level of loyality to Minmatar and its military branches but as long as he is not fighting against the Republic, anything goes for him.

He has a strong affinity to fighting and prefers combat operations, but he also has discovered a liking for scientific endeavours.
