Originally a mercenary hired to catch Derek Kalrinian when he finally ensnared his quarry he came to realize he had more in common with Derek than the Amarrians who had hired him. Ever the opportunist Khaleid made a deal with Derek where Khaleid will never actually capture Derek, and in turn Derek has agreed to remain a thorn in the Empire's side. With no one else capable of finding the missing Minmatar rebel this late in the game the Amarr Empire is forced to continually renew the contract of the only man who has any idea where to find him: Khaleid Amir Abdul.

This arrangement went on for sometime before the Amarrians became wise to the fact they were being played. Khaleid's contract was cut, and given his propensity to live exhorbitantly he had no isk stored away for such an occurance. Unwilling to give up his extravagant lifestyle he contacted Derek to see if his old friend needed any assistance.

Khaleid claims to be the only person to touch Billy Barton's food and live. Billy denies the entire incident.
