Having grown up with Asperger's syndrome, Sorenzo was always drawn to rationality-based thinking. This principle led him to logic and science as well as philosophy, which taught him that all sentient life should be valued based on its impact on other sentient life capable of feeling pain and sorrow.

It was this principle that led him down the path of anti-authoritarianism; despising only the corporatist fascism of the Caldari dictator more than the imperialistic Amarr, Sorenzo joined the tribal groups under the Minmatar Republic because, while he never appreciated the tribes' narrowly focused ethics, he decided that the greatest problem he could help solve was the oppression and enslavement of native races by the mindless followers of Imperial dogma.

If he found an organization capable of tackling harder issues, he would surely reconsider dealing with the Caldari dictatorship since the enslavement of a whole nation is an even greater crime than the enslavement of tribes.
