Judas was born to a prostitute in the Ustnia system. He never knew his real father, though his mother once told him that his father was a Gallantean toilet cleaner that never paid her for their liaison. She was high on mindflood at the time.
As he grew older Judas developed an unhealthy interest in depleted uranium. He would speak of it constantly and write esays and poems about it. Tradgedy struck when an attempt to extract some from a Gallantean wreck went wrong, leaving Judas permanently blind in one eye and another 4 Minmitar slaves dead. He was 4 years old at the time. Judas was given a stern warning by the slaves owners and sent on his way.
Later, Judas was arrested and detained by the Gallante Security police for suspected involvement with a terrorist cell known as "The Pillars of Light".
