Found abandoned in an escape pod, Tau Rollard was immediately adopted by the crew of the Summer's Dawn. No name, registration or information could be recovered from the extremely damaged pod, and the luck that the life support system was functioning at all was considered a miracle in itself. DNA of the boy didn’t match any registry at the time so the future of the boy lay in the hands of Arkanus Tau, a capsuleer on the run. Registering the boy with the name Tau Rollard as part of his custom, he took him on as a son. Eventually settling Tau Rollard in Cistuvaert with a spot at the Institute for Advanced Studies, Arkanus fell into permanent hiding leaving his small wealth to the boy being his only relation and heir. Now fresh out of the Institute Tau Rollard seeks to make a name for himself. A space born outsider with no past now seeks to know who he is, whether it means learning who he was or who he will become.
