A wealthy commoner and typical example of the well-to-do middle class Amarrian, Seran has side-stepped many of the moral issues that consume his capsuleer peers. Being born to a rising merchant familiy based in Madillimire, he has had little experience of slaves, and none of their ownership, remaining largely ignorant of anything beyond the Amarrian Scriptures and media coverage of the issue on Empire sponsored feeds.

He consistently refuses to be drawn on such issues, stating it 'Is not his place to debate God's will, only to live it'. Instead, his keen intellect is turned to the competitive business of trade and related negotiations. A lifetime of etiquette lessons and a deeply held respect for the virtues of Temperance and Diligence make him a pleasant but cunning trader.
