Khanid, okay? Not Amarr! Don't know the difference? Well maybe you should have listened better during your history lessons. Allow me to help you out there.

The Khanid Kingdom was founded around 300 years ago and is, in every respect, an independent sovereign state. Shortly after the Kingdom was founded we had a civil war in which the King's brother tried to sieze power, supported by the Amarr Empire! A war which we won by the way.

Luckily we don't hold any grudges because the Empire and Kingdom are now close allies, both economically and in the fight against Minmatar aggression.

So next time you see a Khanid pilot, maybe you could try and remember where they come from, and that we are a little bit different in terms of culture and lifestyle. Not so different that it causes any problems, but different enough that we do like people to notice from time to time.
