Tom's parents were space truckers, and he was practically born in the cockpit of their ship. He grew up with a love of adventure and a knack for getting into trouble. When he became a capsuleer, it was like a dream come true, except for the part where he had to pay for his own ships.

Despite his questionable skills as a pilot and his tendency to attract danger like a magnet, Tom is always up for a good time. He's quick with a joke and a smile, and he's always ready to lend a hand to his fellow pilots, as long as it doesn't involve him actually putting himself in harm's way.
