I am a firm believer in working for the public good. To that end I have joined the Yulai Guard.
When I undock, I understand that it is possible that some immoral, unethical pirate will attempt to destroy my ship, send me back to my clone, and steal what's left in the wreckage. I will kill if forced. but in no way shape or form do I give my consent to be unjustly attacked.
Piracy is still piracy. Saying "it's all just part of the game" doesn't change that simple fact. If you perpetrate it, you cannot deny that you, the pilot, have no ethics.
In no other game form do ethics and morals have relevance. In an RPG, they are critical to the game. In an RPG, they are arguably the most important part.
To those who know, my first "Medical Clone" was in Norrath as a follower of Mithaniel Marr. Everything here in New Eden is a JC :)
