Bio
During my vast travels across New Eden I am particularly cognisant of ancient lore. One of the oldest and most interesting tales concerned the production of fertilizer on an ancient, temperate but unidentified planet. It seems that during the days of wooden, wind powered, ocean going vessels there was a particular chain of uninhabited islands that had many large caves and caverns. These caves and caverns harbored a great population of bats. This fact facilitated the harvesting of great quantities of bat feces that were shiped to refineries for the production of fertilizer. During the long, slow return trip with a cargohold full of guano, fermentation would occur giving off not only unbreatheable but igniteable gases. To eleviate this problem they would designate all the guano crates with the anagram S.H.I.T. for STACK HIGH IN TRANSIT. Thus the birth of our most commonly used word for fecal matter is an ancient anagram and not a word at all. Ineteresting, no?
