He was never who they wanted him to be. His mother was never known to him. His brother was lost long ago in the Caldari-Gallente War. His father was a soldier, and his father before that, with a history running back several hundred years. He was expected to follow the line to his end.

However, he had a dream that he would once roam the stars, and turned down every ground troop position offered to him, ranging from desk jobs behind the frontline to commanding a tank in the thick of battle. Until his father had thrown him out on the streets.

So with higher connections and a touch of luck, he became a capsuleer, serving in ways his father could never have dreamed of. The sad truth however, is that this capsuleer will most likely outlive his grandparents, his father, uncles and aunts, his cousins, his nephews and nieces. But it matters not. For he serves the Caldari Navy with pride as a mercenary, a new life, a new begininning.
