Daughter of a Caldari Mother and a Gallente Father, her name was made up to protect her true identity. She never knew either one of her parents but it is believed by some her father still lives. Her mother died while traveling deep into Gallente space trying to seek out a peaceful place where she could live out her life with her new taboo family. Knowing the journey would be treacherous, she left "JoJo" behind at a child care service at Jouvulen III Science and Trade Institute where she worked. Jo was raised by the faculty there and was well known for her exceptional piloting skills and exemplary understanding of drones, earning her the name "Helm". Her Gallente spirit longed to break free from the pressures of corporate life and explore the stars. This led her to have a tainted attendance record, though her more mischievous activites went completely unknown to the staff.
