Dr Tristian Gauge is a theoretical physicist specialising in warp field theory, high energy physics and, most recently, graviton physics. He is co-responsible for the Duvolle-Gauge theorem, along with founder of Duvolle Laboratories and fellow capsuleer Dr Joroutte Duvolle, which states that a positive energy warp field must be generated by an orbifold and not a riemannian manifold; a theoretical advance which allowed the eventual development of the warp drive.

Gauge now spends his time as an academic at the University of Caille, bestowing his wisdom on the young undergraduates that pass through.
