Etar’s mother was killed in a refinery explosion when he was just a small boy. Overcome with grief, his father turned to boosters and stims to get him through the days. Etar was forced to start work early, and discovered a natural inclination towards repairing mech components using old junk. When Core Complexion set-up a frigate construction yard on a nearby moon, Etar scraped funds together for transport and found himself a better paying job. Without his son around to watch him, Etar’s father soon passed away from an overdose. Etar never looked back, working hard to avoid his grief, and using his skills to move swiftly up through the engineering ranks. In his spare time he worked with several colleagues to develop a new, high-tech personal transport vehicle. Eventually he and his partners sold the schematics directly to Core Complexion, and surprisingly, made millions off the royalties. Etar used his new-found wealth to buy himself a clone, and build a small memorial for his parents.
