Some are brought into this world with a silver spoon in their mouths; I was born with a blaster pressed to my head...literally. Kidnapped and ransomed at birth, my days as heir to the House of Legolas began violently and have remained to this day a constant source of bloodshed.
Do not pity me... my fate has not been unduly cruel or harsh. The wealth and power my father wielded provided much comfort and diversion from the daily grind of the intrigue of royal life. Amazing the politics that even the 8th in line for the High King's throne must endure.
My father has now passed on, and I, Pollax Legolas, lead House Legolas... if leading is what you call squandering the family wealth and foolishly ignoring the political manouvering done by my enemies. A shame wisdom comes only from experience.
I will end this with a word of advice for those who have done my House wrong... seek redemption for your sins from your Maker; you will find no compassion in my eyes as I'm pulling the trigger.
