Bio
Born in the slums of an un-named moon in a Caldari Border Zone, Eratem grew up among the worst kinds of sentients. Living in that type of dog eat dog environment teaches a young boy how to survive, how to stay alive in the worst circumstances.

Despite all odds being against him, having no family to speak of or remember, Eratem didn't just survive, He Thrived! He learned and fought and got stronger. He utliized the genetics of the Deteis clan, the sharp and ordered mind, to succeed where others might have failed or given up.

Driven by a sense of patriotism and the notion of putting the good of the Caldari Nation before all others, he trained his body and mind, and when he was old enough, enlisted for the Caldari Navy in order to uphold the integrity of the Caldari State against any foe.

Eratem's military career started off as any might suspect, a low ranking FNG in the CAL-Navy. After surviving basic training on a moon not too dissimilar from his own childhood, his first assignment was on the Endevour, a Navy Kestrel on patrol in the Sobaseki System. He served on the Endevour for a few years slowly making his way up the ranks, until finally the ship was lost in a skirmish with a villianous band of pirates known as the Guristas.

Luckily most of the Endevour's crew were able to escape before the reactor went critical. But the picture of his beloved ship being destroyed by pirate scum in front of his eyes while he was forced to flee with his crew, would haunt Eratem for a long time, instilling in him a hatred for all deadspace pirates.

Time passed, as it tends to do, and after many commands, skirmishes, wars, and promotions, Eratem was finally given the opportunity to become a capsuleer. A hybrid of cybernetics and flesh. A combination of Man and Ship. He would become Immortal for lack of a better term.

Eratem would later hypothesize that he has actually died quite a few times, that he gets reborn rather than being immortal. More like a pheonix rising from the ashes, a constant cycle of death and rebirth that allows him to take the fight to the dreadfull pirate scum, to protect not just the Caldari State and her citizens, but all of New Eden from those that would take their liberty!
