Bred a man of bondage, enslaved by those who would claim to be family, I've learned through trial and error that nothing is "as it seems". The challenging path that I have traveled in life has been a journey of systematically stripping away the illusions of this prison, often referred to as reality. The truth is a lot more simple than the complex system of contrary idioms that society would have us be burdened with.

I once claimed to be a victim of circumstance, eventually coming to embrace the cold, hard fact that the life I experience is fabricated by nothing more than the collection of my own beliefs that I choose to hold on to. That the only one responsible for everything that I despise and enjoy is myself.
