Bio
Well I am not one of your typical, anger against the universe Gallente.
In fact I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth.
I lived an easy childhood. My father was the head to an advanced propulsion company, which he
inherited from his father. My mother; who really knows since I had 4 of them and could never
keep track.
I had a very healthy inheritance once I reached the age of manhood. Was sent to the finest of
schools and universities. Graduated with honors and decided to follow my grandfathers career path
of military officer, since it provided him with his first steps to riches and glory.
You should know, my grandfather is one of those hard nosed, eccentric bastards that enjoys
nothing else then diminishing everyone’s self esteem. Sad thing is, when he is tearing you a new
one... he is normally right.
His typical rant was about how the family no longer follows a path to honor because we avoided
involvement in the military and the chance to lead our forces against those blah, blah, blah.... He
went on like that for all the years I knew him. It ended at the same time I graduated from good
old Pod-U with specialization in remote drones and leadership. Even though I was on the path
towards his ideals, it didn’t shut him up.
I would guess what did shut him up was when I put my Blaster to his temple and pulled the
trigger. But, those details are a bit foggy.
I know... kind of dramatic. I am normally not a drama queen either, but enough is enough, yes?
Long story short, I got off the charges for murder due to a technicality. That technicality being my
father's copious isk he paid the jury off with; ah, capitalist society at its best.
That was my father’s last gesture of kindness to me. I know he was appreciative of me "popping"
grandfather as it finally shut him up; but it left him little choice but to disown me. Disowning me
saved his corporate empire, but didn’t save our relationship.
I lived in the trash of the universe for a few years, wallowing in what I thought was righteous
self-pity. Didn’t have much choice since the public spectacle that was the trial for the murder, had
put me on the "do not cavort with" list of every law abiding citizen. But time erases many
memories.
My wallowing came to an end when I met Tilver, a Minmatar of a different nature. He is one of
those formerly persecuted Matari that grew up on a shit-hole planet under the cruel thumb of
some jackass Amarrian. He doesn’t hold grudges apparently, since he married an Amarrian much
to the displeasure of his entire race.
It was odd, he was walking by the ally that I was calling home and flashed his p.i.n. card against
my implants which registered a dump of a few million isk to my very dusty, and surprisingly still
active account. He then said, "Everyone gets a second chance, what are you going to do with
yours?" and continued his walk down the street with an Amarrian beauty hanging on his arm and
smiling all the way.
It’s one of those statements that burns… etch… works… its way into your brain. Surprisingly, I
didn’t jump up and go on a spending spree. I did spend some isk, and got a shower, and a
decent room with real food. If you have ever eaten manufactured protein waste from the wrong
end of a waste disposal pipe for a few years, you probably would have done the exact same
thing, that or blown it on Crash.
