Born on a pioneer transport ship which was intercepted by pirates before it reached its destination Arum Soulders' parents cast him adrift as the boarders slaughtered the crew. The life support escape litter was found by a maintatnace drone wedged into an exhaust port on the underside of Aunia spacedstation and Arum grew up on the astral platform. Arum has never actually stepped foot on a planet. Showing an affinity for drone tachnology from the very start Arum has spent as much time with them as humens over his lifetime. Now Arum searches for others who are out of place or oppressed with the hope of giving them the power to fight back. He also searches for the maintenance drone which found him during his first weeks of life for although it was years ago and the bot should no longer be in one peice, arum has an odd feling that it is actually still out there and that he will have need of it again one day.
