The universe is clever and crafty.
For thousands of years we have struggled, a deep seeded demand from our very souls first to identify God and then to deny Him. Faced with lives fraught with strife we struggled to know His name. A billion candles we have lit, brightening our skies with magic knowledge because if we know the nature of all things and discover He is not real, our insanity can be revealed.
And so we struggled on to the end, only to find the beginning. To understand today we look to yesterday, as we always have. Thusly we have built a mystery so mountainous that any one of us was too stupid to figure it all out.
Until at last we summited the mountain of truth and found the beginning of everything. And there He was, looking back at us; winking at our epiphany that none of this, all of this, any and none of us could be here without Him.
Eppur si muove indeed.
