Born into slavery and orphaned aged 5, Magumba was taken under the wing of a Caldari woman who, in her younger days, it was rumoured, had been an officer in The Caldari Navy. Together they roamed the vastness of space spending their days exploring and trading as the situation required. During this period, as she matured, she was guided and nurtured. When her adopted Mother passed away, Magumba inherited the old woman's estate and possessions. She sold the properties and businesses the old woman had acquired over many years keeping only a few personal items, purchased a small shuttle and started her first formal education at The School Of Applied Knowlege with a notion that she might one day follow in the footsteps of her mentor and enlist in The Caldari Navy. Reading the dead woman's diaries and personal papers, however, made her realise her destiny was not as yet another Navy officer.
