Bio
Bollo Unit Mark XXI. Hold the line.

Note: Got this from somone elses bio. Works very well.

Things I learned early that every
newb should know (in no particular
order of importance)

1) Do not sink all your life's savings
into the biggest, baddest ship you can
get because there is always
something bigger and badder and
when
you meet it you WILL lose everything
all at once.

2) Keep your old ships. You may need
them to earn money to replace the
new ship you just made go boom.

3) In Sure Ance.

4) Keep your clones updated. You can
replace money and the things it buys,
but you cannot replace the time spent
training skills.

5) If you are going to play past the
trial
period, Train learning skills as much
and
as fast as possible. In fact, until they
are maxed, dont train ANYTHING else
that you dont NEED to survive.

6) Weapons dont fire when warpping.

7) Dont try to warp when next to an
asteroid... especially if you are
between that roid and a Gurista.

8) Always take good advice, even if it
is from an asshole.

9) Earn, dont beg or steal. Begging
and
stealing makes the
nicest of guys become assholes.

10) eve-online.com have a item
database about BPOs, ore/minerals,
ships etc.

11) Make friends. They can protect
and
support you in lean times, like when
you lose everything because you
ignored lesson number one.

12) Dont sell items if their price is
99% below market value. Reprocess
them instead and get much more $
for
the minerals from which they were
made.

13) You can seperate stacked items
in
your cargo using shift+drag.

14) Unless your refining level is 4 or
higher, you will USUALLY be better
off selling your ore than refining it
and selling the minerals.

15) Always set a course for a warp
before engaging, that way you can
quick warp out if things get to hot
before your ship lays an egg.

16) Makes sure your pilot is ALWAYS
training SOMETHING.

16b) Training continues when you are
offline; so before you log, make sure
your hero is training one of those
higher skills that you dont have the
patience to train while you are
playing.

17) "Real" agents ( as opposed to
training/storyline agents) will not run
out
of missions for you.

18) Do the training missions.

19) Do not leave stuff floating in
space
unless it is in a secure can. If you
don't
use secure cans, dont be upset or
surprised
if you stuff is taken.
Jettison cans blows up after 1 hour.

19b) Dont jettison secure cans in 0.8
space
and above because
you cant anchor cans in 0.8-1.0
space.

20) Even though you want to try it
out,
DONT use smartbombs
anywhere in 0.5 space and above
when
near neutrals or cans.

21) If you are unfortunate enough to
draw
Concorde fire, remain in your station
for
20 minutes, because if you buy a
new ship
right away and leave the station b4
the 20
minutes are up, BOOM AGAIN. When
you get killed,
you recive an evemail from the
insurance company
with a report on time of death. Add
20 minutes
to that and check the system clock on
the
extreme lower left corner of the
screen for
when it will be safe to leave the
station.

22) Right Click EVERYTHING.

23) Check required skills before you
buy
anything. Make sure you will be able
to
use it once you buy it.

24) Always bookmark your cans.

25) Never AFK mine anywhere except
1.0
or 0.9 space.

26) BEFORE buying anything, find out
where it
is located, what the Security Rating of
