The first son of an inter-galactically famous lawyer and a celebrated neuro-surgeon, Neja's (pronounced /NA-juh/) parents expected him to one day become a partner in his father's firm, or at least to become as celebrated a doctor as his mother. And while the theoretical aspects of both disciplines were not difficult, Neja quickly discovered he had neither the aptitude nor the interest to practice medicine or law. He would rather take apart the remote, the TV, or the dog and see how long it took to put them back together.



Neja's love to tinker at first frustrated then embarrassed his parents and they chastened their son for chasing after what they termed a "blue collar" profession.
