Coming from a long line of Miners, Storik expected to take over the family business when his father was called home in his turn. Those hopes were dashed in the event which has come to be known as 'The Big Brothel Backfire.' While not being particularly prudish by Amarr standards, and being miners, the family would only have frowned on the unfortunate incident if the it had not required mortgaging the family's Hulk to pay for damages. This was too much for the family elders, and Storik was ritually banished from the family. He now seeks to build his fortunes on his own.
