First comes the money. Then comes the study. From study and money comes discovery. From discovery comes satisfaction and money. The cycle begins again.
With satisfaction I continue.
That's how it began. Things change. The band of Matari I took up with seemed like a straightforward group - traders with a vision of better things to come. It seemed a good choice to make the money to keep my research going. Now though... Now I find myself increasingly involved with the struggles of ex-slaves to discover their past, to build their future. The Gallente have always helped the Minmatar but it seemed so distant before.
I cared for nothing but pursuing the great discovery. Now I fight against the slavers. Now I argue with ex-slaves that not all Amarrians are their enemy. Once I wouldn't have even thought of these matters. This wasn't the life I wanted when I left the University. This wasn't a life I would have even understood. It is my life now.
