Although Jeremy Nethlosi started his career as a miner, the constant harrassment from pirates forced him to fit his ships with more guns than mining lasers. Eventually his skills in combat surpassed those in prospecting, and so he took the roll as a protector of those in the trade he started out in.
However, the recent death of his family at the hands of pirates has prompted him to take more aggressive action against those who would take advantage of lesser ships in lawless space.
